WHAT THIS PAGE SHOWS
Public view of scores by discipline and athlete category. Anyone can view without logging in. Shows current scores and standings during and after the event.
HOW TO USE
Step 1: Select an event from the dropdown. Only events with squadded athletes will appear.
Step 2: Choose a discipline: International Skeet, International Trap, American Skeet, American Trap, or Sporting Clays.
Step 3: Choose a category if applicable: Novice, Intermediate, Junior Varsity, Senior, or Collegiate. Available categories depend on the participating athletes.
Step 4: View the leaderboard showing athletes ranked by score (highest first). Displays: Rank, Athlete Name, Bib Number, Team, and Score.
WHEN SCORES APPEAR
During the Event: Scores are posted in real-time or periodically as scorekeepers enter results. The leaderboard updates every few minutes, so check back frequently during the competition.
After Event: Final scores are posted after all scoring is complete and verified. This may take some time after the last athlete finishes as officials verify scores and resolve any protests and ties.
Not Visible Yet: Officials control when scores are published. If a score isn't shown, it may not be entered yet or officials haven't made it public.
UNDERSTANDING THE LEADERBOARD
Rank: Position in the standings. Rank 1 is the highest score. Ties are shown with the same rank.
Score: Total hits for that discipline.
Bib Number: The athlete's assigned number for this event.
Team: Team affiliation used for team scoring and awards.
Categories: Athletes may appear in multiple category leaderboards (e.g., both Junior AND Open). Awards are often given per category.
WHY AN ATHLETE MIGHT NOT APPEAR
The athlete hasn't been squadded yet. The athlete scratched or didn't show (no score to record). You might be viewing the wrong discipline—check other disciplines. A category filter is hiding the athlete—try "All Categories". If there is a technical issue, contact event staff.
Common Questions:
DIAGNOSIS:
VERIFY SQUADDED: Check squadding page - is the athlete assigned to this discipline? If they are not squadded, they might not show up on the leaderboard yet. Check back later to see if they are not visible; if they are not, contact the event staff.
SCORES NOT ENTERED: Even after shooting, scorekeepers need time to enter scores. Come back and check later for their score.
WRONG DISCIPLINE: Double-check you're viewing the correct discipline.
CATEGORY FILTER: If the leaderboard is filtered by category (e.g., "Novice" only), an athlete in a different category won't show. Try "All Categories".
SCRATCHED: If the athlete didn't show up to shoot, no score recorded. SOLUTION: If the athlete shot hours ago and still has no score, contact the event officials at the scoring table.
SCORE ENTRY ERRORS DO HAPPEN.
VERIFICATION STEPS:
ATHLETE CHECK: Did the athlete track their own score on the scorecard? Compare with the leaderboard.
COMMON ERRORS: Transposed digits (96 entered as 69), score entered for wrong athlete (bib numbers mixed up), partial score entered (25-station scores but only 1 station entered). SOLUTION: If you believe the score is incorrect: Note the specific error (what's shown vs what should be). Contact event officials at the scoring table immediately (don't wait). Provide: Athlete name, bib number, discipline, what score should be, and physical scorecard if available. Officials will verify the scorecard and correct it in the system.
TIMING: Address scoring errors SAME DAY if possible - much harder to fix after the event.
BROWSER CACHE ISSUE.
SOLUTIONS:
REFRESH PAGE: Press F5 or the browser refresh button.
HARD REFRESH: Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) to force reload.
CLEAR CACHE: Browser settings > Clear cache for this site.
TRY A DIFFERENT DEVICE: View on a phone or a different computer.
CHECK TIMESTAMP: Some leaderboards show "Last Updated" time at the top. If hours old, scoring may be paused. AUTO-REFRESH: Some events are configured to refresh every 2-5 minutes. If it is not working, a manual refresh is needed.
NOT UPDATING AT ALL: If no scores are added in hours during active competition, contact event staff - may be a technical issue with scoring entry.
DISCIPLINE NOT PUBLISHED. REASONS:
SCORING NOT STARTED: Discipline hasn't shot yet. Leaderboard appears after the first scores are entered.
NOT PUBLISHED BY OFFICIALS: Event staff control when disciplines are made public. May keep hidden until all athletes finish.
NOT PART OF THIS EVENT: Verify this event actually includes that discipline. Check the event schedule.
TECHNICAL CONFIG: Admin may have forgotten to enable public view for that discipline.
SOLUTION:
CHECK EVENT SCHEDULE: When is that discipline scheduled to shoot?
CHECK OTHER ATHLETES: Ask competitors if anyone sees that discipline.
CONTACT OFFICIALS: If the discipline was shot hours ago but is not visible, ask event staff to publish it.
POSSIBLE SCENARIOS:
MULTIPLE CATEGORIES: Athlete correctly in multiple category leaderboards (e.g., Junior AND Open) with the SAME score shown in each. This is normal - one score, multiple category placements.
DATA ERROR: Same athlete listed twice with DIFFERENT scores in the same category. This is an error. Causes: Duplicate entry by mistake, bib number collision, or data corruption. SOLUTION: Contact event officials immediately with a screenshot showing the duplicate. Officials will remove duplicate entries and keep the correct score.
MULTIPLE ROUNDS: Some events have preliminary and final rounds. Athletes may have different scores per round (separate leaderboards).
DEPENDS ON EVENT CONFIGURATION.
SOME EVENTS: Show detailed breakdown per station (e.g., Skeet: Station 1-8 scores visible). Click on the athlete's name or the "Details" link to expand.
OTHER EVENTS: Only show total score. Station breakdowns not public (official's decision for scoring efficiency).
WHY HIDDEN: Reduces scorekeeper data entry time. Prevents disputes over individual station scores (total is what matters for awards).
WANT DETAILS: If you need a breakdown and it's not shown, check the physical scorecard. The athlete/coach should have a copy; otherwise, the event staff can show you. Have the bib number, discipline, and shoot time handy. Ask the scorekeeper if the breakdown is available for review. For protests: Officials have detailed scorecards on file.
